HORSES WE HAVE SOLD

Proven Stallion for sale: SOLD TO A POLO HOME IN SA

CHANDLERS WARREGO

Chandlers Warrego (DOB 1/8/1998), is a quiet, fuss free stallion who runs with the mares - or is happy to have his own paddock.  He is paddock sound but due to a past injury in his front hoof, he is unsound for anything but light riding.  Warrego is a black stallion that doesn't carry the chestnut gene - so all our foals have been black, black/grey, brown or bay.  We have leased him for four seasons and are only parting with him due to the fact we have retained 7 fillies and have three other stallions/colts, so we sadly need to move him on.  The progeny we have are quiet and good minded horses.
While Warrego is only 15.1hh himself, many of our progeny (both colts and fillies) have been taller than either parents. For more information on his bloodlines and perfomance see http://www.heritagehorse.net/stallion_chandlerswarrego.asp to see our progeny from Warrego check out our foal pages 2008 onwards.

HORSES WE HAVE SOLD

EMUGULLY THOMPSON  $1980 including GST SOLD
(by Egans Til Buster out of Penta Magic).

Heritage bred grey gelding.  He is the sentimental stud favourite due to his exceptionally calm, quiet and friendly temperament, but he also has brains and the natural agility to go with it and has been seen to do roll backs naturally in the paddock.  Ideal pony club or polocrosse prospect and would make a great family horse. Dam is a very soft, agile and cowy mare, sire has produced successful campdrafters.  Ideal for Youth to take on as a breaking project (obviously under experienced supervision) due to his sensible, intelligent, quiet, easy going temperament.  Both parents have exceptional temperament with no buck and are producing cowy athletic progeny and Thompson would make an ideal polocrosse or campdrafting prospect.  He is only for sale as he is the wrong colour and sex.  Good home essential. His bloodlines include: Abbey, Rivoli Ray, Elliotts Creek Cadet, Chan and Tester (the sire of Haydon's Midnight killed in the Charge of Beersheba in 1919). Should mature 14.3-15hh

Please note Warwick had stitches this week (Monday15th) to a cut on his neck. This was only superficial (skin deep) but for sake of aesthetics we got it stitched - the vet has assured us it there should not be a scar with this injury. Warwick also has a small nick to front foreleg but both should be well on the way to being healed by Sale.  No Lameness evident. He has been stabled and rugged prior to sale.

EMUGULLY WILLOUGHBY SOLD

Brown/black gelding, calm, friendly temperament, should mature approx 15.2hh. Sire played polo and campdrafted before injury. Bloodlines include: JAIPUR, WARRENBRI ROMEO, double cross of NABINABAH THE GUN and NABINABAH COMMA.

EMUGULLY SEMAKH SOLD

yearling in summer colour

Chestnut two year old filly. Semakh has a lovely temperament, good feet, good to handle, lead, float and tie. She has been “bushed” in NSW since birth to develop toughness and surefootedness. This filly has very unusual colouring with her flaxen mane and marked pangare colouring (light nose, flanks and belly) she looks palomino but doesn’t carry the dilute gene. Full sister to Sari Bair (below in the sold section) who broke in exceptionally well showing excellent mind, agility, softness and comfort. Only offered for sale as we are retaining her younger sister. Semakh was named after the Battle for the Town of Semakh (1918) at the southern end of the Sea of Galilee in the Middle Eastern Campaign.
